Well, technically I don't have a yard, my complex has grounds. After lunch, I took a walk around the grounds with my camera to clear my head and inspire me. This flowering vine-like plant was growing along the fenced patios of the first floor apartments. I had noticed it numerous times, but I had never paid any attention to it. When I did, I was struck at how shimmery the petals are and the floppy stamen which are almost as long as the petals. Just a little unassuming flower waiting for someone to appreciate its grand design rather than being brushed off as being insignificant. Today, I challenge you to look out for something you might have easily dismissed as being too unimportant for your undivided attention.
