A Thanksgiving Feast

The 3rd Thursday of each month sees me starting the day with a Library Managers meeting and end it 13 hours later stacking chairs after Town Council to clear the room for Tai Chi Club the following morning. It's a long day, so this post will be short. This month our manager's meeting was nearby, so after lunch and some library program supply shopping, I had a bit to time to go to Descanso Gardens before going to the library for the evening ahead. The light was soft at 4:00 so I enjoyed taking photos without the usual bright sunlight with noticeable shadows that I usually have when I visit Descanso. The garden was festooned with pumpkins--a feast for squirrels and other small creatures that call Descanso home. I walked down a bit and as I returned, I saw this little guy tucking into an early dinner. What a joy to watch him. With a smile, I realized that although, he was quick I did get my photo for day #3. Good night.
